About this site

The intent of this site is to provide some fact-based observations about Saint Paris government and politics. Hoping it will function as an antidote to the witches brew of misinformation that dominates the local Facebook banter.

Who is Joe Curran?

I've been a member of the Saint Paris Village Council since January 2022. I'm a US Marine Corps veteran and Ohio University graduate. My community involvement includes Urbana Rotary Club (president), Covenant Lutheran Church (council president), and also the scouts, Our Town Saint Paris and Knights of Pythias. My wife Carey Anne and I are the parents of six adult children. I'm a software developer.

My council term ends this year and I'm not running for re-election. The goal now is to get good people involved in village governance. So at some point I can turn over this website to the next generation of Saint Paris leadership.
